Both of my eyes are really red, and my nose has been running all day (yay for a new box of soft kleenex). I was sweating a lot earlier (where I'm usually cold) and shut the heater near my desk off. Yep, its a cold (and not allergies as I was hoping)! I've felt that slight soreness in the back of my throat for 2 weeks that usually turns into a cold. It hadn't gotten worse, but hasn't gotten better either (and Sunday made me worried that it seemed just a tad more pronounced). Its just a cold, but I'd prefer it to stay there rather than shooting its way down my chest into my lungs and making my oh-so-not-fun asthma act up.
So I'm fighting with myself about dance class. I think I may just skip it in exchange for sitting on the couch with never-ending herbal tea, a blanket, closed eyes, and a cat. Yeah, and getting to bed early. Dammit! I don't want to miss dance class. But I am planning on sticking around on Saturday after Ballet class to work more on the tap routine, so I could just call *that* my lesson. I'll see how I feel when I get home . . .

Cold tea
Date: 2005-02-15 12:01 pm (UTC)I've had a really good year in terms of colds, with none of them getting bad. That's why I've slowed down when they've flared up, its totally been worth it.
Have fun on your trip!
