We pulled it off!

Over the last couple of weeks I've been working with some others to coordinate a bellyblessing for Legitimatelove. I thought given how its getting to the end of her pregnancy and she's getting really anxious to get her little man out in the open she'd appreciate the music, the dancing, and the spiritual 'welcoming a new soul' that my dance teachers do. Luckily all of the pieces fell into place and we were able to give her some belly love last night. Here's hoping that it helps move that little guy along (and, that we didn't make her too tired or embarrassed by the whole thing)! :)

For those that are interested, here's a good article about bellydance and birth (written by one of my teachers who is also a midwife, and who danced for E last night).

And now *I* am really jonesing to go dancing myself! :)

What's funny is that when I saw Ty & Tom come in, and then Jen & Mo come down the stairs, I was like, oh no, is this some kind of intervention? What have I done now?!? LOL.

I've picked up on the "go procreate, you" vibe my (now no longer) pregnant instructor has been putting off, and it's all I can do to not pelt C. with preggie/birth-type questions! It's so premature and stuff but still I can't help but wonder if she attends homebirths. :)
