I'm finally buying a good bodice this year. I've settled on the "Max" from Moresca, and will order one shortly so I have it for the season. What's kind of making me wary is picking from the color swatches on the website . . . just because they look one way on my screen that doesn't mean that's how they look in person. I'll measure myself tonight and order it tomorrow, taking the plunge. I wan't something that is sturdy, comfy, and will last me forever (hence sucking up the $ for the thing).

I'm hoping to sell the one I have that I never wear anymore (its not a good cut for women with pronounced hips, since it comes right to the waist on the sides). I need to measure it and all, but its here if anyone thinks they may be interested: http://www.diabolis.net/gallery/displayimage.php?album=161&pos=22 (PS, I'm not the one in the kilt) . One side is that brocade, the other is a solid blue (like a dark cornflower blue). You can see the back of it in this pic (I'm sort of in the middle of the photo, with a green muffin cap): http://www.diabolis.net/gallery/displayimage.php?album=152&pos=26 . I bought it in 2001 at the Sterling Faire for a good chunk of change and have only worn it about 5 times or so.

Its too bad we can't go to the King Arthur Faire this weekend (Brian is on call); I'm jonesing for Faire season to begin!
