I'm posting this on *my* apple laptop (an ibook? I have no clue, I'm that inept with them). Brian just bought one of the sexy new black ones, I'm now using his old one, and he's selling my machine. It makes the whole windows talking to mac problems go away. It protects me from some of those nasty virii out there. I won't have problems printing or lose my network connection sporadically or get that annoying error message that I got each time I opened the computer, due to a known windows bug that we weren't able to get a fix for.

This will make working from home interesting should the need arise, if I have to do data manipulation. I really need to brush up on my SPSS skills (or find some apple friendly product similar to MS Access).

Off to get dressed for dance class! Damn, I'm not used to this "mouse" . . .

or easiest of all set your work computer up so that you ca use the Mac Remote Desktp Connetion and then just use your work PC directly from your Mac at home.

This is what I do with my ibook -- works great. Looks better when I use the imac with the 20" screen, but works fine on my ibook.

BTW Dancer, I think you are on a powermac, not an ibook. The powermac is all shiny while the ibooks are plasticy.

If Macs were truly the end-all-be-all of no-computer-problems-evar, I wouldn't have a job. :D

Although Boot Camp does sound fun....
