Its weird having cats that aren't Max, and that are so young. As far as 2 cats versus 1, when I still lived with my parents we actually had 3 cats in the house together (Max being one of them). Cats are so easy to take care of that 2 or 3 isn't too different than 1 (other than putting more food out, and cleaning a litter box more often or using better litter that doesn't need changing as often). They are just so much happier with a friend to keep them company generally . . . now we just need the two of them to get used to each other so they can be more friendly! :)

I haven't yet owned another cat since I had to put my last one to sleep, and I don't know how it's going to be when I get another one that isn't him... I think it'll probably be weird, at least at first. I'm sure Mal and Jayne will get along soon enough, and then there will be much kitty happiness, which is a good thing. :D See you at rehearsal tomorrow night! :)

Brian suggested that I do that at some point. I just have to figure out how to do it, and I probably will at some point (it would be small, so a quick knit most likely). :)
SO cute! I love their names too :) Firefly rules. Oh and I totally agree with you about taking care of more than 1 - I have 3 and they're really not that hard to deal with. I couldn't imagine only having one and leaving it alone all day while I work. I do have 2 litterboxes for 3 cats. If you have 2, I highly recommend adding a second box.
The picture of Jayne in the leather computer chair looks -exactly- like Fiona. He doesn't particularly look like her except for the coloring, but she sits in Kite's chair in exactly that pose. Kite thought I was showing him a picture of Fiona.
