. . . with freshly mani/pedi nails! I forget how much I love the nail place near my house and how good it makes me feel. Its splurging, but its (relatively) inexpensive splurging. :)

Rehearsal last night went well. Its still weird to me how different this whole thing is without Miss Peggy (for various reasons). There were a few dances that made me smile and/or almost cry, that I wish she could have been here to see. I guess we did so well on our ballet routines that we won't have class on Saturday. I've collected all of the bits I need for the show now (I think), and I just need to try things on and make sure I don't need any last minute adjustments or additions.

Mal and Jayne fared well at the vet this morning. I wanted to bring them in for an initial checkup to make sure that everything was OK, and Mal has been a bit sniffly since we got him home (we knew that he had been recovering from something at the shelter, because he had just been returned after living in isolation at someone's home for a month). Dr. Lynn gave them a clean bill of health, and they have all of the health records from Pet World/SPIN in their system now so that I'll get a nice little reminder postcard in the mail next year when they need updated shots. Mal weighs in at 8 pounds while Jayne is a hefty 12.5. Later Leah (friend and vet tech there) found a firefly and went out to let it free - funny considering our guys were there for a visit!

In musical news, Brian returned the broken iPod last night and I reloaded music on it this afternoon. I'm ready to roll, again, once I add some things from CD that we hadn't managed to already rip to MP3. Now I just need to go Hampton Beach cruising in my lowrider!
