I picked up the den radiator cover last night, and its in great shape! Brian and I bought some gloss rustoleum in Brown, which should match well with the shelves that we'll put over it. It needs another coat of paint, and then we can buy wood, cut shelves, sand, stain, install.

Our DVDs will move over onto those shelves, but I wanted to get them organized more compactly, but still have them easy to flip through. After searching around for a while, I settled on these . Someone has suggested http://discsox.com/ but I don't find them too attractive for sitting on a shelf, and they are pretty pricy.

So does anyone want a particle board media shelf? Its very sturdy and fits a lot of stuff (there is some peeling on one side, where our radiator sprayed at it, but its functional). Here's the pic again:

I just measured and it will fit in the space we have, so YES, we'll take it. Thanks a ton. No rush on the bureau. It sucks to paint/poly in humid weather.

I'm hoping to have our den shelves up by the end of this week (so the media shelf unit will be ready for you). I'd also like to get that damned bureau finished too, so weather willing, I'll get it done at the same time.

So, expect to be hearing from me at some point later this week about dropping at least the media shelf off, maybe both of them :).
