veggie question

I spent some time today cooking up veggies from our farm share so that they wouldn't go bad, and planning what to do with some others. I have one that looks kind of like celery, and we're not sure what it is.

It looks JUST like celery with some fine leaves at the top. Do you think it may be fennel? The stalks are quite long, and its not really bulbous like I'd expect. I know its not kohlrabi (see prior comment about looking just like celery).

And once I know what it is, I have to figure out what to do with it :)

This farm sucks - they never tell us what anything is . . .

you should be able to smell/taste the black jelly bean flavour if it is fennel.

Does it have any sort of a reddish/pinkish tinge to it? If so, it's rhubarb
