Musings on the past
Aug. 25th, 2006 03:50 pmGoing back and reading through old LJ entries is a fun exercise, if you've got the time for it.
I'm still amazed how ridiculous the whole process of us selling the house in Framingham and buying the house in Waltham was. We are truly meant to be where we are at.
I'm also kind of amazed at how crazed busy we used to be. Post grad school I tried to make an effort to not be so nutso, and though we still do a good deal of things, I feel like I'm much more in control of it.
It ached that I wasn't able to dance, and now that I'm able to its good to remind myself what it was like before. I was also quite nuts at the end of my grad school career. I'm glad I did it, but I can say I never want to go back to that kind of schedule again. Ever.
Most of all, I remember how long some of us have all been friends, and it makes me smile. Thanks for sharing the important stuff with me! :)
