I made fajitas for dinner last night, and used up some of the veggies from our share. I also threw in some chillis from our herb garden - so good! Does anyone want any? We can't use what we have (we have about 6 in our fridge right now and a bunch more on the plant outside). Want some apple mint? Basil? Oregano? If you can come out to our place to get it, its yours :)
Post dinner Brian and I spent some time together and I got my craft room finished, done, in order! The rocking chair looks so good in there - I'll take some pictures this weekend (well, of that and everything else we've been up to). I'll want to get a back and butt cushion set for it and found some online in the $50 range . . . has anyone seen them anywhere else for less money?
Brian also got his room in order - and then he showed me this:

So funny! We're actually planning on getting one of these finally for our nephew for Xmas, since he's wanted one for so long (since we've had ours - almost 5 years or so). I figure, if a kid doesn't tire of something like that for so long he'll probably have fun with it for a few more years to come, maybe.
I went to the Tiggerette's to keep her company during some organizing and wow, I thought that *I* was very sentimental and kept a lot of things around. :) It was neat hearing her stories and served to remind me how I'm a huge nerd when it comes to organizing things. For whatever reason, I've always been really good at it, and she seemed to think we got through things at a much faster pace than she was expecting.
Tonight is date night (not sure what we'll do) and it will be a busy rockstar weekend - despite the fact that I now own a rocking chair and are planning on doing a lot of knitting it it. :)

Date: 2006-09-28 07:32 pm (UTC)The oregano has a bit of a kick to it . . . its "hot oregano", whatever that is. The basil is self explanatory, and the mint is applemint - though it doesn't taste appley at all to me. There's also some chives - take some of those too if you want them. :)
But if you want to see us - we'll be around for a good part of Saturday afternoon, I'll be around Sunday afternoon until about 1:00, and we'll be home Sunday night after dinner.
