There's been a lot of schmoop around lately it seems. SCHMOOP!
Brian's free from being on call today and we're going out on a date tonight - bow chika bow wow! I wanted to check out the Great Pumpkin Express at http://lookoutfarm.com/ but I'm not sure how that will work with the rainy weather, so we shall see. We'll be out in that area anyway so that I can pick up a skein of yarn I ordered from The Fabric Place, so we'll do that first, have dinner at The Aztec (one of the few things I miss about living in that area) http://worcester.citysearch.com/review/4635548 and ponder doing the train thing on the way home, weather willing.
Its official, I've started Xmas shopping. I'm trying to plan better this year in terms of what I'm getting, how much I'm spending and spreading it out over the fall months so that I don't take a huge hit in December. I'm such a dork, I'm tracking it all on an Excel spreadsheet (more for morbid curiosity more than anything). I have so much fun with it, and it will be a bigger challenge this year as people are trying to scale back on the "stuff" they own. For those that are curious, crafty things, books, tea. Lush and iTunes are always good for me (though, I'd really prefer the company of friends to "stuff" when it comes down to it - but some of you just have to do something). I also have a wish list here: http://amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/ref=yourlists_pop_1/104-7152029-2432757 . I've kept it more to remind myself of what I want, but its there and someone asked for it, so I figured I'd share.
