dancerjodiBrian and I went out last night looking at potential storage options for the kitchen. Home Depot didn't have much, so we'll look at a few other places before buying something.
We had some ideas:
-A black and stainless unit that would typically be used in a garage. It would look neat in the kitchen, fit a lot and given what we do to our house all of the time I think having a tool storage container in the kitchen would be kind of neat. They didn't have attractive ones at Home Depot but we'll look around some more at other Depots, Lowes and Sears.
-We talked about buying some cheap white or oak finish cabinets and just painting them to match what we have already. This would be some extra work, but it would all match. This may be the route we end up going, but we'll still think about it a bit.
After dinner and browsing we stopped so that Brian could see my old house in its empty, different state and so he could see my Grandmother's house in its new changed state. Brian's not usually a sentimental guy, but he said that its nice to see Gram's place be a bit lighter, and having some new life breathed into it. I think he's definitely right about that one.
I need to get off my butt and get my Halloween costume finished - perhaps tonight after dance class.
