It is freaking freezing in my office. I want to bring in a thermometer to prove that I'm not such a wimp (I am a wimp with cold, but not this huge). Papers tacked to the cube wall are blowing in the breeze from the vent on the ceiling above me, seriously. My boss is on vacation for a little over a week and I've been a productive machine since then. Oct-Dec always kills me at work, with all of the year end stuff to get out.

Bath and Body Works antibacterial pump soaps are on sale right now (so I learned from my coworker) at 4 for $10. That's essentially getting two of them free, so its a good time to stock up if you use those things.

I bought the new Weird Al album yesterday (so funny, my favorite yet) and the new Evanescence. I think Lacuna Coil has gotten more mellow while they've gotten heavier. The two haven't yet met in the middle, but its close. Either way I like the album.

my only concern with picking up the latest weird al
is that i'll almost certainly not know any of the songs
that the parodies are based on.

Well, I don't know what White and Nerdy is based on, but the song is still a riot.

There's Green Day ("Canadian Idiot") and Rage Against the Machine (based on Burn - "Sue, Sue yes I'm gonna sue). There's a song about how he loves his pancreas, a song about not downloading the song, a song about all of the nasty things virus' can do, and the classic polka (I didn't recognize all of the music in there but some I did 'Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me').

I think this may be his nerdiest one yet!

The new Evanescence made my wish list as well. Sean had it in his car on the way to the book signing with Drew Karpyshyn, and I thought it was excellent. I just haven't managed to pick it up yet.
