Apparently this loading issue is kind of common with gmail for some. Here's hoping its related to work and not home.

If you need me, call, because I'm not sure if I'll be able to get into my e-mail from home either at this point. :/

There have been many attacks on the internet root servers this week, that is most likely the issue you are seeing. It's been off and on for me as well. Really blows, wish people would just leave the internet alone.
