Bad: having your driver's side mirror totally ripped off
Good: they didn't hit the car itself
Good: The Chevy Dealer having one in stock and holding it for you
Good: Your awesome McGyver husband rig up a temporary mirror with $3 of supplies from Stop and Shop

Bad: running around crazy, pulling things together for a par-tay
Good: a hot shower and last week's crazy episode of Supernatural (Aliens slow-dancing to Lady in Red?)
Good: Time with friends
Good: Chocolate with friends

Bad: Messes
Good: Baked goods
Good: Finding stuff you forgot about
Good: Making sense of things concrete and abstract through the organizing

Bad: not seeing your husband for a good deal of the weekend
Good: through the longing, remembering how lucky a lady you are
Good: having the rest of the night with him
Good: having the day off from work tomorrow with him

Sorry about your mirror. One bad thing about the snow is that they don't plow all they way to the curb, so you end up sticking out further than normal, and I guess some drivers don't account for that.
