Its a date! We're sharing a place with Amavia and Lurfmonkey. They booked http://www.dailymanagementresorts.com/Resort.aspx?resort=4 which seemed to have good reviews (and they can take advantage of their time share pricing). We'll be there for a week - the first in October. Whee! :)
Amavia has been saying over the last few years that we should do one of these trips some fall. I imagine we'll split off sometimes (they've done the Vegas thing often and won't want to see the super touristy stuff) but I'd love to go exploring outside of the city with them too.
Its really too bad that Dick Cheese won't be there when we are!

There is also almost any type of food your heart desires. If you want really good mexican try The Pink Taco in the Hard Rock if you want something more high end try to get reservations at sunset in Top of the World in The Stratospher that's a revolving resturant and the foor and views are amazing. They are famous for their lobster bisque. have fun. Vegas is a big playground
