Thanks to Roaming!
Jul. 11th, 2007 12:22 pmA blog on the little things in life:
http://roaming.livejournal.com/202251.html#cutid1
This relates to so many things, including that
-I should eat more bananas
-I really want to finish reading my current issue of http://www.penzeysone.com/cgi-bin/one/index.html, which is a great testament to the power of food.
-Mundane isn't really mundane (and if it is, you're doing it all wrong).
Perhaps also related, I have a sandwich made from some bread that we got at the farmer's market. http://www.panoramabakery.com/ is literally a couple doors down from my house, but I almost never go there given their hours. I have roasted turkey with honey mustard on pumpkin bread, and damn is it yummy! Savor the little details and all of that . . .

This reminds me of a line in Dan Millman's Way of the Peaceful Warrior where he said, "There are no ORDINARY MOMENTS." Great book.
