It's a day for the crazy. Crazy all around! Is their something weird astrologically going on or something?
Along those lines, I don't care what they say, I far too resemble a cancer to not be one!
Picked up the February edition of InStyle magazine last night. There is an interview and lots of lovely photos of Dita Von Teese in her LA home. Gorgeous on all accounts! After a lot of thought I finally spent a gift card I received for Christmas on the magazine, a book http://www.amazon.com/Happiness-Project-Morning-Aristotle-Generally/dp/0061583251, a spill-proof aluminum thermos for my morning tea, and a yoga bag to protect the mat that my cat Mal has been shredding in it's spot rolled up in the corner of my living room (take that cat)! I love sitting in bookstore cafes, drinking frouffy drinks, flipping through magazines and chatting with Brian. I miss the old Borders Cafe in Framingham, which is where I think I started doing this (with Melissa back in High School, probably).
Totally uncharacteristic of me, I bought a video game last night. Totally characteristic of me though, the game was http://www.amazon.com/Dance-Broadway-Nintendo-Wii/dp/B003GZY88G. My biggest challenge with using the Wii is holding the controller the right way, so that the sensor can register what I'm doing. So much fun!
I'm excited to be attending http://www.goreplace.org/poe.htm with some friends tonight. Where should Tiamatlady and I get dinner? Something that won't take a ton of time, because she's meeting me around 5:30 and I have to be at the house by 6:45. I'll have 2 extra tickets, if anyone else wants to go.
Anyone got a good spot for breakfast right in the Fenway area? I'll be killing time between 8-10 and don't want too go far from Brookline Ave. There is a Panera there but that's sort of unexciting. I caught that Church does brunch, but I'm looking for something more simple/local/dinerlike. The Pour House is what's coming to mind but there has got to be something a bit closer! Thanks in advance. :)
