dancerjodiHe's entered a few paintings into a collection which will be shown at a gallery in NH around September 11th (with artwork about last year's September 11th). He's made it into the show (they were going to select only so many entries) so I'll be going up to check out the exhibit after it opens (since I won't be able to get out there on opening day, September 11th, which falls on a Wednesday).

"Brought my painting today and it will be in the show, I showed her another layout and she would like that also if I can finish. It was fun, I took it out of the box and she sat on the ground for 10 minutes looking at it. She kept saying all kinds of artsy schmartsy compliments about it, and wanted to see more stuff. I am happy to just have one in there, will be a bitchen groovy time, gotta go buy a pipe and suede dinner jacket !!! 'Famous as F- - - ' here we come !!
The BBC will be there during the show and some known singer (never heard and didn't ask) will introduce and sing a song she composed, state politicians, etc to speak. I have to practice up on my 'Buffy darling....you look fab !!!!' and my 'Biff....I thought you were Arnold Swartzenager for a minute....polo has been good to you !!!!' "

My Dad is a silly-head! As far as the "Famous as F___" reference; a few of my friends used to say my Dad was punk as fuck and I thought he'd get a kick out of it so I told him (despite the fact that we don't usually use that F word around my house). He was pretty amused and brings it up from time to time.
