My general luck with cars
Mar. 20th, 2001 10:02 pmSo, the leak in the antifreeze was not only due to a loose connection, not due to an old tube that needed to be replaced.
Its possibly the Head Gasket (or more complicated/expensive). My mechanic can do no more to it.
I'm bringing it to a Ford dealer to asses on Monday. If it costs $1000 or more I think I'll be in the market for a new car. BLAH!
I don't even know where to begin looking.

Date: 2001-03-21 07:18 am (UTC)Seriously, I seem to like foreign cars, and honda tend to last forever. I have an 11 year old prelude, and while it has quirks, it runs quite well. I had a 90 VW jetta as well, and it was beaten to hell and kept running. I suspect my next car, which may be within the year, will either be a VW Jetta or Passat, used.
Good value for the car imho.
And I did find a car in my fridge once. It was too small to drive though.
