I wanted to go to Man Ray tonight for various reasons.
Its been ages since I've gotten really dressed up (I was going to do the formal goth thing (!) with a formal velvet outfit I made a long time ago and possibly whiteface, too). Feline will be there with her dad and stepmom and I wanted to meet them (and also give her hugs of support). I wanted to support the hatted one on the night that he seems to need it the most in the whole year (IIRC this Hell is the least attended each year). I wanted to shake that ass on the dance floor.
But GOD DAMN is it cold out today! I'm still on the fence, though. If we do end up going it will be due to my own perseverance and a lot of fighting with Brian. You see, Man Ray just isn't doing it for him lately . . .
Brian also received the 10 DVD set of "The Best of the Muppet's Show" that he ordered for me for Christmas - there are 3 episodes on each DVD (30 classic Muppet's shows, *drools*). You don't know how appealing that going out for a pizza and then settling into the warm den under the binary blanket from ThinkGeek (with some popcorn, of course) sounds right now.
What are YOU all up to tonight?
I'm so glad I have such trivial choices to make - it still doesn't make it easy, though.
