Ugh

Ken isn't being the best realtor in the world lately - he hasn't been answering questions we've had. This didn't happen the last time, but perhaps its because the process the last time was comparatively easy, or because we had more support from the bank (who called to check in on things pretty often).

I'll spare you all the details. In sum: I was concerned about how we'd get the $ from the Framingham Sale in a form to give at the Waltham Purchase. I asked Ken about this on May 20 and Brian pulled the answer out of him today - looks like more running around and more legal bills on our part.

On a funny note - here's a post from a friend of a friend of a friend (or something). The title of the friend's post was "it takes a woman":

Ze left arm

I made a point to not sleep on my left side last night, so that I didn't put pressure on the sore arm. Its still hurting today but feels a bit better. If I keep that up hopefully I'll be OK. It hasn't been swollen or anything - its just sore.

Today is nuts - tonight will also be nuts. I can't wait for my vacation!

Now I'm off to try and find my boss who I have to meet with to prep for a meeting that's tomorrow.

I forgot to mention what my Dad is getting me for my birthday - he's going to pay for our dumpster rental. No, its not sexy, but it is $325 that I don't have to shell out. Go Dad! He acknowledged that it wasn't the most special or exciting gift, and said that if I wasn't interested he could take me to Burger King for dinner instead ;) .

Go Dad! The last time we bought a house (and, I had my birthday soon after) he gave us an electrical service upgrade for a gift. That of course cost more than the dumpster - between $2000 and $3000 (basically, $ for the new box and the time for the electrician to hook wires into the new box, and do all the connections outside of the house to the pole). He said that he was so proud that his baby girl was buying her first house, he wanted to help out in some way. Now we're on #2, and though he thinks we're nuts because he can't stand Waltham and wants to get away, he's proud of the fact that we're pulling it off in exactly the way we wanted to. (I'm sure it helps that he can walk over and visit whenever he wants too).

My family *is* nuts, but I like them.
