Last nights episode of Buffy just rocked my tap-shoed broadway musical world! The neatest thing is that B took the VCR from the living room and hooked it into his computer to make MP3s of the songs. He left a CD of it for me on the kitchen table so that I can listen in my car and at my desk while building my Encounter Data application ("I am coding - Coding am I" is my mantra today . . . damn conflicting date formats :P )
It was nice to be home last night and hang around in my PJs. I also got to do a couple of craft projects: a Thanksgiving/Fall curtain for our front door to replace the one that I made for halloween and a silk flower arrangement for my Nana for Christmas. I bought a neat silver cone thing in New Orleans and wanted to put some pretty things in it for her; I still need to pick up some mauve velvety ribbon to finish it off.
Tonight I'm stopping at the party store after work to get baby shower decorations for my friend and co-worker M's shower on Friday, stopping at CVS to pick up a script and some other goodies (its about time I got new eyeliner), helping my Grandmother move in a new recliner (and we're getting her old one), food shopping and THEN crashing. Why do I find all of these things to do? We're skipping Cruxshadows in favor of spending the money instead on VNV Nation - why I wonder did they schedule that show for a Tuesday night? If I get into the Christmas Show I may have problems getting the night off (but I guess if I tell them now it shouldn't be an enormous problem). I should hear something today or tonight (woo hoo)!
Well have a great day my friends! And remember, "What can't we face if we're together? What's in this place that we can't weather"
