A friend of mine bought it a couple of years ago at the Victorian Store that used to be in Salem (the one owned by Jodi Cabot). She was given another one she liked better, I was in the market for a hat like it, so she gave me her old one :)
The store in Salem closed a while ago unfortunately, but some of the stuff can still be found in Laurie Cabot's store - Cat Crow and Crown (or something like that).
after a luncheon tea style bridal shower a few months back, we've been playing around with the idea of afternoon tea every other month or so :) isn't it so fun? :)

Yep! I keep saying I'm going to have a tea party but it hasn't happened yet. :) I even have a little cookbook for all of the finger sandwiches and scones.
"where did you find hats?"
Krista has had hers for years (being a proper Southern gal, I think its a requirement or something :) ). I got mine as a gift from someone, and she got it in Salem at a Victorian store (alas, that's closed now) that was owned by Jodi Cabot.
Krista took me to tea at the Ritz Carlton . . . I've been to tea before at 2 other hotels in Boston (the Long Wharf Marriot and the Four Seasons), but this was the fanciest yet :)
