Are you AAA members at all? If so, get some guides - they will give you some great contact info.

I am assuming you have friends there, but if not, let me know and we can use our timeshare account to get you a great little cottage or something. I've got lots of resources, depending on what you need, including an assload of happy-to-help brits. :)

We are. Brian's calling them to set up an appt to talk with a travel agent.

We have one friend there, Brian's got to get in touch with him (years ago he offered crash space, but we haven't talked to him in a bit).

Along the timeshare note, since we have no idea yet where we'll be when, and we've found some good airfare+hotel packages, it may not be an issue. Its looking like we'll want to stay right in downtown Edinburg, so if there is a place there in the timeshare and it won't screw up your own travel plans, I'd love to hear about it :)

There is a huge hotel right in the middle of Edinburgh, but there is no vacation availability the week of April 9 and later. I can dig a little more, though, as soon as I get through these remaining presentations today. So much work!

When I have my medieval/Robin of Sherwood/Lothlorien/Rivendell fantasy themed wedding -- in some October, at dusk, lit by many small candles, surrounded by big oak trees and weeping willows -- I'm gonna ask that guests don't buy gifts. Instead, they get to plan the wedding as a gift.
