I had a crappy night last week. Its finally hit me why I haven't enjoyed sewing much. I keep making projects that I think I need to do for X event, convention, whatever. I can't remember the last time I've sewn something just for the hell of it that I've been excited about. Also, the neat tools and resources I have kind of intimidate me, and make me feel like I should be sewing, even if I'm not in the mood for it. I'm going to get through Dragoncon (I won't be finishing that toga dress at the moment, because I don't feel like it) and I'm going to get my new craft room in order. Then I'm going to sew something fun, not something I feel like I need to sew.
Both cats jumped onto the bed to wake us up this morning, each with little cat toys in their mouths. So cute! After breakfast I did a bit of cleaning and opened the windows for the cats. Its so beautiful outside, and our celing fans do a good job of bringing the fresh air in. The Tiggerette and I are checking out the Tea Room on Moody Street for the first time, and later on will do whatever else strikes our fancy. It will be much better than beating myself up on a Friday night over sewing frustrations.
