We had loaded up Brian's truck with some furniture to deliver to friends and he noticed his brake petal went straight to the floor. After inspecting under the truck, he noticed that something had exploded, leaving a huge pile of fluid underneath the back. It probably has something to do with the tiny leak of something he noticed yesterday.

So we brought all of the furniture back into the house, and its in our front hallway until the truck is repaired. Thank heavens for AAA, and a mechanic near his office. He'll have it towed tomorrow morning and they'll give him a ride to work. Here's hoping it isn't anything major!

Sounds like when my brake line went. The tube that transported the brake fluid cracked and sprayed fluid all over my engine. One person wanted to charge me $500 cause he claimed the master cylinder in the brake system was shot, someone else charged me $20 for the hose. (could've been either, but make sure that it's a mechanic you trust not to try and jip you: they like saying brakes are worse than they are cause they're so important)
