An interesting article about Waltham development that was in yesterday's Globe.
http://www.boston.com/news/local/articles/2007/03/11/extreme_makeover_in_works_for_waltham/

I'm really thankful that the behemoth in the works on the corner of Main and Moody was turned down http://www.dailynewstribune.com/homepage/8998998136609308671 . Something new there would be neat, but of that size would be awful to deal with (there's already a lack of parking in that area at night). I'm really curious to see what happens with the massive former Polaroid site, and how things change around 117/Rt. 20.

As usual, its interesting seeing such change coming to a city that when I was a kid was a total dump where some people were kind of scared to spend their time. Waltham in the grand scheme of things has seen great change, but most only see a small snapshot of a town. Its neat to be a part of something like that, and I'm curious where it will make us end up.

Well the hearing about 1 Moody Street was weeks ago.

I normally can't go to those meetings, because they are usually on Tuesday nights (and I have dance class). I'm not sure what it is the city likes about Tuesdays, because their historical society meetings also fall on Tuesdays (I'm a member, but I can never go actually see any of their demonstrations).
