HUUUUUGE TRACKS OF LAND!
Mar. 12th, 2007 03:56 pmAn interesting article about Waltham development that was in yesterday's Globe.

I'm really thankful that the behemoth in the works on the corner of Main and Moody was turned down http://www.dailynewstribune.com/homepage/8998998136609308671 . Something new there would be neat, but of that size would be awful to deal with (there's already a lack of parking in that area at night). I'm really curious to see what happens with the massive former Polaroid site, and how things change around 117/Rt. 20.
As usual, its interesting seeing such change coming to a city that when I was a kid was a total dump where some people were kind of scared to spend their time. Waltham in the grand scheme of things has seen great change, but most only see a small snapshot of a town. Its neat to be a part of something like that, and I'm curious where it will make us end up.

Waltham real estate hearing
Date: 2007-03-12 09:13 pm (UTC)I normally can't go to those meetings, because they are usually on Tuesday nights (and I have dance class). I'm not sure what it is the city likes about Tuesdays, because their historical society meetings also fall on Tuesdays (I'm a member, but I can never go actually see any of their demonstrations).
