Here I sit at my computer, after a busy couple of days. Its later than I had hoped to be up but I'm relaxed and it was a nice weekend.
Mmmmmmmmmm - I finally fed my craving for the Trader Joe's pineapple salsa today. And we ate dinner at a neat little bar in the city that I've been meaning to try for years. The super bowl commercials completed everything.
Shadow of the Vampire was pretty good - I have yet to see John Malkovitch in anything that I didn't like. Willem Defoe was wonderful. It was nice to see a fictional 'other side' to the Nosferatu story (which, I had seen for the first time on Halloween). The only thing the movie was missing was a score by Reflecting Skin.
I was just IMing with my brother, he turns 18 on Friday and asked me to go with him and a couple of friends to Spin Cycle at Axis (its really 19+ but he "knows someone" who will get him in if he's 18). The thought of 'raving' with my brother makes me smile - kind of like when he was around 9 years old and I took him to see Rocky. Its new territory for B and I and he's just so excited to be our tour guide. Who knows, maybe one of these days we'll go with him to an Outlaw Party :)
Hee hee - we got him a one month membership to Raverporn.net for part of his birthday present . . . my Dad is going to KILL me.

Date: 2001-01-29 01:18 pm (UTC)I'm not a huge fan of his, was just commenting that what I've seen, he's done well in (I thought he was a pretty good 'unbalenced' guy in Shadow)
